Maurice Jarre

1. jarreJarre was born in Lyons, France on September 13,  1924. He wrote concert music and film scores in France when he received a call from director David Lean to write score to Lawrence  of Arabia. The increadible success of this score catapulted Jarre to wordwide fame and many assignments. In addition to his orchestral scores, Jarre has become renowned for his  electronic scores for such films as Witness.

Both scores to Ghost and  Fatal Attraction have become cult classics.
